Few things are more important in the air transportation industry than accurate and reliable radar information. After a careful series of tests and a round of competitive bids, the chief integrator for this Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) project chose Gcom® to enable robust data transfer for multiple airport radar locations.
Not only does Gcom provide protocol software for the local control and monitoring of radar units, but Gcom SDLC protocol stacks also allow connectivity to remote control and monitoring locations for redundancy and data collection.
