Description - Gcom-proprietary repositories of C functions to create and manage legacy protocol communications

Purpose - Gcom_ssd uses legacy APIs and the SyncSockets API to convert legacy protocols to/from the SyncSockets® protocol.

Usage Benefits - Because developers (and administrators) need not understand Gcom legacy APIs or legacy protocols to implement their communication products, they can:

  • Shorten development cycle time.
  • Build more flexible communication products.
  • Improve their ability to maintain and troubleshoot products.
